The Children’s Bureau’s Thriving Children and Families: Prevention With Purpose Prevention Resource Guide recognizes that there are actions we can take at all levels of the social ecology—as a society, within community systems, and in our organizations, as well as with individual families—to address the root causes of maltreatment and provide meaningful support. The guide also seeks to highlight the many innovative ways that communities around the country are already doing purposeful prevention work to help children and families thrive.
