After working as a Graduate Assistant throughout his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, Jakob now works with SPI as a Program Coordinator supporting a wide variety of projects. His MPH program emphasis was Health Management and Policy, which he applies into this role through his work on CQI projects, administrative duties, and technical support.

Jakob’s primary work focus includes communications, addressing Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) as key community health issues, and health equity. Jakob is also passionate about increasing the availability of healthy aging opportunities for all individuals through Age-Friendly Community (AFC) initiatives and programs.
