SPI and the YMCA have partnered to bring HOPE training directly to San Diego! In partnership with the National HOPE Resource Center at Tufts University, the trainings offered below can support you or your organization to learn more about the HOPE Framework or become a HOPE certified trainer. These trainings can help strengthen workforce across industries to provide staff resources for holistic wellbeing and health.
HOPE Introductory Training (45-60 minutes)
The first step in learning more about HOPE is to sign up for an overview through an Introductory Training session either individually, or as an organization. This training is a brief overview that introduces the HOPE Framework, and provides insight as to how HOPE can be applied within one’s own self and also day-to-day work.
HOPE 101 Training (2-3 hours)
The next step in becoming HOPE Informed is to participate in a HOPE 101 training. This more in depth training covers the following main topics:

The science of Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs)

Direct actions to implement the HOPE Framework and Building Blocks

How to utilize the framework as an individual and organization
