SPI is home to a cadre of staff and associates, each of whom has significantly contributed to their respective fields. As adaptive leaders, SPI staff and associates have a pulse on evolving policy and practice throughout human services systems, enabling them to assist agencies and organizations to anticipate and respond to key shifts and changes. Our team is invested in engaging and mobilizing high performance partnerships. This work is often centered on implementing and sustaining wellness systems of care and building community resilience to prevent child abuse and neglect and promote child, family, and community well-being.

SPI Informs and Facilitates Project Planning, Policy Advocacy,
and Community Partnerships

SPI conducts program evaluations, performs collaborative research, and designs continuous quality improvement (CQI) systems for various organizations and networks, transforming data into meaningful action for evidence-informed programs and processes. SPI also has experience in creating theories of change, guiding partners through data collection, performing data analysis, and creating visualization dashboards.

Justice,
Liberty, and Belonging

SPI and SDRC created a customized competency-based learning framework to address the evolving needs of families for equitable access to antiracist services and supports. The framework is defined by three components, Justice, Liberty, and Belonging (JBL), the full expression of basic human dignity in the context of relationships.

Faith-based Leader & Behavioral Health Professional Training Academy

In partnership with Stepping Higher, Inc., the SPI team developed a training academy model that strengthens collaboration between faith-based organizations and behavioral health services to improve individual, family, and community health and well-being.

Practice Model Implementation

In Ventura County, SPI worked with partners to coordinate the ICPM rollout that included leadership events, development of a customized (in-person/hybrid) curriculum for frontline staff, and training and coaching of county trainers to build local capacity..
